Real Betis Balompié football club based in Sevilla and part of La Liga (men’s top professional football division of the Spanish football league system) has joined LIFE TACKLE project.

The stadium has started its path in the implementation of pilot actions foreseen in the project with the aim to contribute to the improvement of the environmental management of football matches.

The decision of the club to adhere to the project comes after its commitment to become a certified carbon-neutral football club and other initiatives adopted in these last years toward environmental sustainability.

Real Betis is the unique club of Spanish League to have joined LIFE TACKLE and it allows the project to extend the geographical scope of the project after the involvement of football clubs and stadium from first Leagues of: Italy, Sweden, Romania, Ireland, Portugal and Belgium.
