LIFE TACKLE led a survey through specific questionnaires addressed to football fans and supporters during professional football matches. Results have been collected and analysed in order to carry out an awareness raising campaign by targeting supporters to improve their environmentally friendly behaviours.

This report presents original data from over 1600 questionnaires collected through face-to-face interviews with supporters before the Covid lockdown.
The data were collected during 4 Italian Serie A, Swedish first division and Spanish Liga football matches. The following stadiums were involved: Olympic stadium in Rome, Marassi in Genova, Friends Arena in Stockholm and Benito Villamarìn in Sevilla.
The survey investigates football supporters’ environmental attitude and behaviour, as well as their perception about the environmental management of football and their role and contribution to the improvement of the sustainability of football events.
